It's been quite a while since I posted here last. I was just watching some videos by my good friend Hensley (Watch them, they're not what the average person expects them to be.) He loves the Lord and wants to spread the Good News of Jesus Christ to any and all. That is also my goal, to be faithful to the Great Commission, which sadly I have not been doing my best of late.
I can think of so many excuses about not doing what I'm supposed to, and so can you too. We all fall short of the glory of God, and that's why Jesus took our place on that cross, because He was the ONLY One who could satisfy God's requirements to save us.
The reason why I haven't posted is I've been lazy, laid up and not moving around. I'm getting older so my knees tend to hurt, but none of that is any excuse to quench the fire of the Holy Spirit in my heart, saying, "GO, TELL THEM ALL I HAVE TAUGHT YOU." None of us have any excuse for disobeying God's commandments, which again is why Jesus did it all for us first, to be our example, but He also sent the Holy Ghost to be our Helper and Comforter when we DO obey the Lord. It's not easy, especially in this evil day, but when you know God is always with you no matter what, and you need help, He is faithful to do as He promised.
I don't have a face book anymore, and it's just as well. I trust in God to bring people here to read what I'm writing, and that hasn't changed since 1999 when I first started writing on the internet and giving the Gospel to any who come this way. I know I'm not popular, but I'd rather remain humble, and give God the glory and preeminence in my life, no matter what I do.
If you don't know Jesus Christ as your Savior, you can right now. Jesus died on the cross for everyone, past, present and future. He did so because He loved us so much that He made a way for us to be with Him forever in Heaven. He shed His blood for us-- God's blood-- and satisfied God's wrath on us all, and now, we can choose to believe all that He did for us-- and here's the best part-- we can AVOID HELL, FOREVER!
